In honor of Lygon, it is our great privilege each year to come alongside a young woman and give support – both financially and spiritually. This young woman is one who is living out the ideals of what it means to take seriously that now is the time to live, pursuing what the Lord has called her to do despite the obstacles, driven to do the will and work of the One who made us all.
Additionally, In the spirit of Lygon, we only accept recommendations from those around this young woman who see the truth and spirit and capturing passion of this young girl. We believe in answered prayers and know this support is to be in that vein. These girls are hidden pearls, dedicated to being beauty in the field around them – regardless the cost. They don’t shout their accomplishments, or seek to draw attention to themselves; therefore, we feel it is the keen one around them whose heart is drawn to them who seeks this support on their behalf.
If you wish to submit the name of a young woman in her late teens or twenty’s for consideration, please do the following: Send us an email with your testimony of this young woman and the way she demonstrates a Lygon-hearted life, and what you see her specific need to be. Please include at least three different pictures of her. Include your name, address, phone, and best email address to reach you. We also ask that you do not make the young woman aware of this inquiry.
Submissions may be received all year up to May 1st. Decisions will be made by May 30th. You will be contacted after that time.
